FB-7011 is a novel, long-acting small interfering RNA (siRNA) drug candidate developed by Frontier Biotechnologies that employs a dual-targeting mechanism. The drug simultaneously targets both Complement Factor B (CFB) and Mannan-Binding Lectin Serine Protease 2 (MASP2), representing a "dual-pathway interception" strategy for inhibiting the complement system. FB-7011 is being developed as a potential disease-modifying therapy for IgA nephropathy (IgAN), a progressive kidney disease characterized by IgA immune complex deposition in the glomeruli.
