Overview

FB1006 is a novel small molecule drug discovered and developed using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. It is being investigated as a potential treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, which is a fatal neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive degeneration of motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. The drug was developed through collaboration between 4B Technologies, Peking University, and AI partners such as Insilico Medicine. Clinical studies have been conducted at the Third Hospital of Peking University, with the program advancing to Phase 2 clinical trials in China.
