FB102 is a proprietary anti-CD122 monoclonal antibody developed by Forte Biosciences for the treatment of autoimmune and autoimmune-related diseases. Its mechanism of action involves antagonism of the interleukin-2 receptor beta subunit (IL-2Rβ, also known as CD122), thereby inhibiting signaling pathways mediated by IL2 and IL15 that are critical for T cell and natural killer (NK) cell activation. Preclinical studies have shown that FB102 selectively inhibits proliferation and activation of T cells and NK cells while sparing regulatory T cell (Treg) function. The drug is being investigated primarily for conditions such as celiac disease, graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), vitiligo, and alopecia areata. It is administered via intravenous or subcutaneous routes[1][2][3][5][7].
