Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FB610 is a positron emission tomography (PET) tracer developed by First Biotherapeutics (1ST Biotherapeutics) that targets c-Abl (Abelson tyrosine kinase). The activation of c-Abl has been implicated in the pathology of various neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson's disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), where it contributes to neuroinflammation and protein aggregation. FB610 is designed as a diagnostic tool to visualize and quantify c-Abl expression or activity in the central nervous system, potentially facilitating patient selection and monitoring of target engagement for c-Abl-targeted therapies. It is currently in preclinical development as a companion or supporting diagnostic for the company's therapeutic c-Abl inhibitor programs.
