FB849

FB849 is a proprietary small molecule inhibitor of hematopoietic progenitor kinase 1 (HPK1; also known as mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 1 or MAP4K1), developed by 1ST Biotherapeutics. It is being investigated as a novel next-generation immuno-oncology agent. By selectively inhibiting HPK1, FB849 aims to enhance anti-cancer immunity through the activation and invigoration of multiple immune cell types including T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, and macrophages. Preclinical studies have shown robust and durable tumor growth inhibition. The drug is currently in Phase I/II clinical trials for advanced solid tumors both as monotherapy and in combination with checkpoint inhibitors such as pembrolizumab[2][5][6][7][8].
