Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FB849 + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination therapy being evaluated for cancer treatment. FB849 is a highly selective inhibitor of Hematopoietic Progenitor Kinase 1 (HPK1), which has demonstrated potent anti-cancer activity in preclinical studies by modulating immune responses against tumors[4]. Pembrolizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the Programmed cell death protein 1 receptor (PD-1) on T cells, blocking its interaction with PD-L1 and PD-L2 ligands to prevent immune suppression by cancer cells[2][5][6]. Pembrolizumab is approved for multiple cancers as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. The combination aims to enhance anti-tumor immunity by simultaneously inhibiting HPK1 and the PD-1 pathway.
