Overview

FBP002 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by FasT Biopharma that targets Fas ligand (FasL). It is currently in preclinical development, specifically lead optimization, for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer and other solid tumors. The drug's mechanism of action involves blocking FasL-mediated T-cell depletion, a process by which tumors express FasL to induce apoptosis in tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, thereby evading the immune system. By neutralizing FasL, FBP002 aims to preserve T-cell populations and enhance the anti-tumor immune response. It is designed for intravenous administration.
