Overview
FBT-HR2-ProNP is a preclinical-stage recombinant protein and chemical combined nanotherapeutic being developed by FusionBioTech for the treatment of cancer. The drug candidate utilizes FusionBioTech's proprietary protein-drug conjugation and nanoparticle delivery platforms to target Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). By combining a HER2-targeting recombinant protein (such as an affibody or fusion protein) with a cytotoxic chemical payload in a nanoparticle formulation, FBT-HR2-ProNP aims to selectively deliver therapeutic agents to HER2-expressing cancer cells, thereby maximizing antitumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity.
