FC084 camphorsulfonate is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of the Axl receptor tyrosine kinase, developed by InnoVision Biopharmaceuticals (Zhongshan InnoVision Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.). Axl is a member of the TAM (Tyro3, Axl, Mer) receptor family and is frequently overexpressed in various malignancies, where it promotes epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT), tumor cell survival, metastasis, and resistance to both chemotherapy and targeted therapies. By selectively inhibiting Axl, FC084 aims to disrupt these oncogenic processes and restore sensitivity to treatment in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The compound has been investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials (e.g., CTR20230518) to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in adult patients who have progressed on standard therapies.
