**FCM-NPs** is an experimental ovarian-cancer nano-vaccine composed of a fusion cell membrane derived from dendritic cells and ovarian-cancer cells, coated onto poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanoparticles encapsulating CpG oligodeoxynucleotide. The fusion membrane is intended to combine a broad set of ovarian-tumor antigens with dendritic-cell antigen-presentation and co-stimulatory features, while CpG oligodeoxynucleotide activates Toll-like receptor 9 to enhance dendritic-cell maturation and cytotoxic T-cell responses. In mouse subcutaneous, patient-derived xenograft, and peritoneal-metastasis ovarian-cancer models, the vaccine delayed tumor growth and reduced metastatic tumor burden. It remains a preclinical research-stage personalized cancer-vaccine approach.
