Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FCN-911 is a small molecule pan-tropomyosin receptor kinase (TRK) inhibitor currently in preclinical development by Chongqing Fochon Pharmaceutical for the treatment of solid tumors. It is designed to inhibit the activity of the TRK family of kinases, which includes TRKA, TRKB, and TRKC (encoded by the NTRK1, NTRK2, and NTRK3 genes, respectively). Chromosomal rearrangements resulting in NTRK gene fusions lead to the constitutive activation of these kinases, which act as oncogenic drivers in a wide variety of adult and pediatric solid tumors. By blocking these signaling pathways, FCN-911 aims to inhibit tumor cell growth and survival in patients with TRK-driven cancers.
