Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FDX104 is an investigational topical foam formulation containing 4% doxycycline hyclate, developed to prevent or reduce acneiform rash induced by epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)–targeted therapies and other targeted antibody treatments in cancer patients.[1][3][4][5][11] By delivering high local concentrations of the tetracycline-class antibiotic doxycycline directly to the skin while minimizing systemic exposure, FDX104 aims to leverage doxycycline’s anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties to mitigate EGFR inhibitor–associated rash, thereby improving quality of life and helping patients remain on optimal anticancer regimens.[3][4][6][8]
