Overview

FEC3-D3 is a neoadjuvant chemotherapy regimen used primarily for the treatment of node-positive breast cancer. This regimen consists of three cycles of FEC (Fluorouracil, Epirubicin, and Cyclophosphamide) followed by three cycles of Docetaxel. It is designed to provide comparable efficacy with a shorter duration compared to other regimens, aiming to reduce tumor size before surgery and improve patient outcomes. The individual components work through various mechanisms to disrupt cancer cell proliferation and induce cell death.
