Fei Re Qing Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula developed by Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of elderly community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). The formula is specifically indicated for patients presenting with Phlegm-Heat Obstructing the Lungs syndrome. It is composed of several herbal ingredients, including *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Huang Qin), *Trichosanthes kirilowii* (Gua Lou), *Forsythia suspensa* (Lian Qiao), and *Fritillaria thunbergii* (Zhe Bei Mu). These herbs are traditionally recognized for their ability to clear heat, resolve phlegm, and relieve cough. The drug is administered as an adjunctive therapy alongside routine standard treatments to improve clinical outcomes and symptom resolution in patients aged 65 to 80 years.
