Feilike

Feilike is a proprietary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula developed and manufactured by Guizhou Jianxing Pharmaceutical. It is available in two primary dosage forms: Feilike Heji (mixture) and Feilike Jiaonang (capsule). The formulation consists of seven herbal components: *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Radix scutellariae), *Peucedanum praeruptorum* (Radix peucedani), *Stemona sessilifolia* (Radix stemonae), *Metagentiana rhodantha* (Honghualongdan), *Firmiana simplex* (Phoenix tree root), *Hedyotis diffusa* (Spreading hedyotis herb), and *Pyrola calliantha* (Red tube 7 flavour). Feilike is clinically indicated for the treatment of respiratory conditions characterized by phlegm-heat, including acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and pneumonia. Its pharmacological mechanism involves antitussive and expectorant activities, as well as anti-inflammatory effects mediated by the inhibition of the STAT1-NLRP3 axis, which suppresses epithelial cell pyroptosis. Additionally, it has been shown to modulate the p38 MAPK, AKT, and VEGFA signaling pathways. Recent research has also explored its potential in treating triple-negative breast cancer by inducing GSDME-mediated pyroptosis via the mutant p53-calcium/ER stress-ROS-MAPK axis.
