Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Feiwei Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the China-Japan Friendship Hospital for the treatment of interstitial lung disease (ILD). It is specifically designed to address the "Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis" syndrome, a common TCM diagnostic pattern in chronic pulmonary conditions. The formula is intended to alleviate symptoms and improve clinical outcomes in patients with ILD, which is categorized under the TCM concept of "lung impotence" (Feiwei). It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to provide scientific evidence for its efficacy and safety as a therapeutic intervention for pulmonary fibrosis and related interstitial lung conditions.
