Overview

FEM Perimeno is a non-hormonal dietary supplement formulated to support physical and emotional changes associated with perimenopause, such as hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and mood swings. Developed under the FEM by UPSA brand, the product combines PeriCyTonin (also known as Pure CyTonin), a purified, non-estrogenic cytoplasmic Swedish pollen extract, with saffron extract and vitamin E. The pollen-extract technology is developed by Sérélys Pharma, which was acquired by the French healthcare company UPSA in 2024. Unlike phytoestrogens, the active pollen extract does not act on estrogen receptors, and research suggests its mechanism of action may influence neurotransmitter-related pathways involved in thermoregulation, sleep, and mood.
