Fenavas SP

Fenavas SP is a fixed-dose combination tablet containing aceclofenac, paracetamol, and serratiopeptidase. Developed and marketed by Boffin Biotech, this formulation is widely used for its synergistic analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis to alleviate pain and inflammation. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) acts primarily on the central nervous system to provide additional pain relief and reduce fever. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that degrades non-living proteins such as fibrin at the site of injury, which helps reduce swelling, edema, and promotes tissue healing. Fenavas SP is indicated for the management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis, post-operative recovery, and traumatic injuries.
