Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fengdongshu Tibetan Medicinal Bath is a traditional Tibetan medicinal product developed and manufactured by Xizang Ganlu Tibetan Medicine. It is a topical herbal formulation designed for use in 'Lum' (Tibetan medicinal bath therapy), a core treatment modality in Sowa Rigpa (Traditional Tibetan Medicine). The product is primarily indicated for the treatment of 'Wind-Damp' diseases, which encompass musculoskeletal disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other forms of joint inflammation and pain. The therapeutic process involves the immersion of the body or affected limbs in a warm herbal decoction, allowing the active botanical constituents to be absorbed through the skin and pores. This method is intended to promote blood circulation, reduce swelling, and alleviate pain by balancing the body's internal humors according to traditional principles. It is an approved traditional medicine in China.
