Overview
Fenghua Jieyin is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical formulation, primarily available as a lotion or wash, developed and manufactured by Jiangxi Fenghua Pharmaceutical. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of gynecological infections, including vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) and trichomonas vaginitis. The formulation is composed of a synergistic blend of herbal extracts, such as *Sophora flavescens*, *Phellodendron amurense*, *Cnidium monnieri*, *Kochia scoparia*, *Artemisia argyi*, and *Smilax glabra*. These botanical ingredients contain bioactive compounds like matrine, berberine, and osthole, which possess broad-spectrum antifungal, antibacterial, and antiparasitic properties. The drug works by disrupting microbial cell membranes and inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory mediators, thereby alleviating symptoms such as pruritus, abnormal leucorrhea, and local inflammation associated with vaginal dysbiosis.
