Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fengye Kechuangping is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) compound oral solution developed by Suzhou Yusen New Drug Development Co., Ltd. specifically for pediatric use. It is indicated for the treatment of acute bronchitis in children, particularly those presenting with the TCM syndrome of "wind-heat cough" (风热犯肺证). As a TCM formulation, it consists of a mixture of herbal extracts designed to clear heat, ventilate the lungs, and resolve phlegm to alleviate symptoms such as cough and bronchial inflammation. The drug has been evaluated in a randomized, double-blind, parallel-group Phase 2 clinical trial in China (CTR20210397) to assess its efficacy and safety in the pediatric population.
