Fenozolone

Fenozolone is a psychostimulant and psychoactive drug developed in the 1960s by Laboratoires Dausse. It is structurally related to pemoline and 4-methylaminorex, and acts primarily as a norepinephrine-dopamine releasing agent (NDRA), increasing the presynaptic release of norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin. This results in amphetamine-like stimulant effects on the central nervous system, enhancing monoaminergic neurotransmission. Fenozolone was used medically as a psychostimulant and antidepressant under the brand name Ordinator but has largely fallen out of clinical use due to safety concerns[1][4][5][7].
