**FeONPs-curcumin** is an experimental nanomedicine consisting of iron oxide nanoparticles capped with curcumin, a polyphenolic small molecule derived from *Curcuma longa*. The formulation is intended to improve curcumin delivery and bioavailability. In a reserpine-induced rat model of Parkinson's disease, FeONPs-Cur improved motor activity, restored dopamine and norepinephrine concentrations in the midbrain and striatum, reduced oxidative-stress markers, reduced elevated monoamine oxidase activity, and preserved acetylcholinesterase and sodium-potassium ATPase activity in selected brain regions. It remains an academic, preclinical antiparkinsonian candidate without a known sponsor-assigned development code, marketed brand, clinical trial program, or regulatory approval.
