Ferripel-3

Ferripel-3 is an oral iron replacement preparation containing iron as Iron(III) hydroxide polymaltose complex (IPC). It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of anemia caused by iron deficiency. The mechanism of action involves supplying bioavailable iron, which is absorbed in the intestine and then bound to transferrin for transport to the bone marrow where it is used in hemoglobin synthesis or stored in the liver as ferritin. Clinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in normalizing hemoglobin values and replenishing iron stores across various age groups. The product comes in both syrup and drop formulations, with each milliliter (20 drops) or 5 ml of syrup containing 50 mg elemental iron[1][2][3][5].
