Overview

Ferrocalm is a probiotic food supplement containing the proprietary bacterial strain *Streptococcus thermophilus* FX856. Developed by Ferryx, a spin-out from the University of Bristol, this live biotherapeutic is specifically designed to survive and remain active in the challenging environment of an inflamed gut, even in the presence of iron. It is marketed to support gut health and alleviate symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), particularly during periods of stress.
