**Ferrolife** is an oral fixed-dose antianemic capsule marketed by Maxx Pharm. Each capsule contains iron(III) hydroxide polymaltose complex equivalent to 120 mg elemental iron, folic acid 1.5 mg, cyanocobalamin 15 micrograms, and zinc sulfate monohydrate 61.8 mg. It is used for treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia, including nutritional anemia and iron deficiency associated with pregnancy and lactation. The product supplies iron for hemoglobin synthesis and replenishment of iron stores, while folate and vitamin B12 support erythropoiesis and DNA synthesis.
