Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Rerifer is a brand of hematinic supplements developed and marketed by Ind Blues Pharma, primarily used for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia and nutritional deficiencies, particularly during pregnancy or recovery from blood loss. The product line includes several formulations: Rerifer tablets, which contain a combination of ferrous ascorbate (a highly bioavailable oral iron salt) and folic acid (vitamin B9); Rerifer Oral Suspension and Rerifer-CT chewable tablets, which contain ferrous calcium citrate and folic acid; and Rerifer Drops, which contain elemental iron and folic acid. These active ingredients work synergistically to restore depleted iron stores, support the synthesis of hemoglobin, and promote the production of healthy red blood cells, thereby improving oxygen transport throughout the body and alleviating symptoms of fatigue and weakness.
