Fertifol is a pharmaceutical-grade folic acid (Vitamin B9) supplement developed by Effik, specifically formulated at a 400 µg dose for women during the preconception period and the first trimester of pregnancy. Its primary indication is the primary prevention of neural tube defects (NTDs), such as spina bifida and anencephaly, in the developing fetus.
