Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fetal human placental stromal cells (f-hPSCs) are a novel cell therapy approach utilizing non-matched, expanded, potent xenogeneic fetal human mesenchymal stromal cells. This cell therapy has demonstrated pro-regenerative and anti-inflammatory effects by responding to host stress and secreting an adequate secretome. It is currently being investigated for the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), where it has shown to enhance regenerative processes, reduce inflammation, and improve histological scores in preclinical models.
