Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Fevicid** is a topical fixed-dose dermatological cream containing clobetasol propionate 0.05% w/w, a highly potent corticosteroid, and clotrimazole 1% w/w, an imidazole antifungal. Clobetasol activates glucocorticoid receptors to suppress inflammatory signaling, while clotrimazole inhibits fungal ergosterol biosynthesis through inhibition of sterol 14-alpha-demethylase. The product was registered in Nigeria for local treatment of inflammatory and fungal skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. The Nigerian regulatory listing identifies Greenlife Pharmaceuticals as applicant and Kremoint Pharma as manufacturer; its registration was listed as inactive after an expiry date of May 27, 2026.
