Overview

CPB2206 is a fixed-dose combination (FDC) therapy developed by Corepharmbio for the treatment of respiratory diseases, including allergic rhinitis and asthma. It combines fexofenadine hydrochloride, a non-sedating second-generation H1-receptor antagonist, with montelukast sodium, a selective cysteinyl leukotriene receptor antagonist (CysLT1). By targeting both the histamine and leukotriene pathways, CPB2206 aims to provide comprehensive relief from symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and bronchoconstriction. The program is part of Corepharmbio's pipeline of incrementally modified drugs (IMDs) and has undergone Phase 1 clinical evaluation to establish pharmacokinetic bioequivalence compared to the co-administration of its individual components.
