FF-37101 is a bone grafting material developed by FUJIFILM, specifically FUJIFILM Manufacturing Europe BV. It is composed of a recombinant peptide (RCP), which is a collagen-derived peptide produced through genetic engineering. This peptide is processed and thermally crosslinked into a porous granular form. FF-37101 functions as a biologic scaffold that promotes bone regeneration by maintaining space at the defect site and stimulating new mature bone formation through interactions with osteoblasts and cell-surface integrins. It is primarily indicated for bone lesions and bone formation disorders in the maxillomandibular region, such as tooth extraction sockets. Notably, the material is free from animal-derived components, enhancing safety and reproducibility.
