Overview

FFP-102 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Fast Forward Pharmaceuticals as a CD40 pathway antagonist. It is designed to block the interaction between the CD40 receptor and its ligand, CD154 (also known as CD40L), which is a critical costimulatory pathway in immune activation. By inhibiting this interaction, FFP-102 aims to suppress the pathogenic immune responses and inflammatory signaling characteristic of autoimmune disorders such as Crohn's disease. Although initially part of the Fast Forward Pharmaceuticals pipeline, the drug's development appears to have stalled or been discontinued following the company's inactivity after 2019.
