Overview

FFP-106 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Fast Forward Pharmaceuticals for the prevention of graft rejection. It is designed as a dual-targeting antagonist of the CD40-CD40L (CD154) pathway, simultaneously binding to both the CD40 receptor and its ligand. By blocking the interaction between CD40 and CD40L, FFP-106 inhibits the co-stimulatory signaling essential for T-cell activation and B-cell differentiation, thereby suppressing the immune-mediated rejection of transplanted organs. Clinical development of FFP-106 appears to have ceased following the developer, Fast Forward Pharmaceuticals, becoming inactive around 2019.
