Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FGFR4 CAR-T is a preclinical-stage chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Augmenta Bioworks. The therapy involves engineering T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 4 (FGFR4), a receptor tyrosine kinase that is frequently overexpressed in rhabdomyosarcoma and other solid tumors. By targeting FGFR4, the CAR-T cells are designed to selectively bind to and eliminate malignant cells while minimizing off-target effects on healthy tissues. The program is currently in the preclinical phase of development for the treatment of pediatric and adult solid tumors.
