FH-A11KRASG12V-TCR is an investigational autologous T cell therapy in which a patient’s own CD8+ and CD4+ T cells are genetically engineered to express a high-affinity, transgenic T cell receptor (TCR) specific for the KRAS G12V mutation presented by HLA-A*11. This therapy is designed to target and kill cancer cells harboring the KRAS G12V mutation, which is found in several solid tumors including metastatic pancreatic, colorectal, and non-small cell lung cancers. The approach leverages adoptive cellular immunotherapy to direct the immune system against tumor-specific neoantigens that are absent from normal tissues. The drug is currently being evaluated in a phase I clinical trial led by Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and University of Washington School of Medicine.
