Overview

fhB7H3.CAR-Ts are a form of chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy in which a patient's T cells are genetically engineered to express a synthetic receptor targeting the B7-H3 (CD276) antigen. B7-H3 is an immune checkpoint molecule overexpressed in various solid tumors, including brain tumors, ovarian cancer, and liver cancer. The modified T cells are designed to recognize and kill tumor cells expressing B7-H3 by binding to this antigen and initiating cytotoxic immune responses independent of MHC presentation. This approach aims to enhance precision and efficacy against cancers that overexpress B7-H3 while overcoming some mechanisms of tumor immune evasion[2][3][1].
