Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fibrinet is an autologous platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) system developed by Royal Biologics. It is designed to concentrate platelets and fibrin from a patient's own peripheral blood to create a bioactive scaffold that supports tissue regeneration and healing. The system is utilized across various clinical applications, including orthopedic bone grafting, dental procedures, and the management of chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers. By providing a sustained release of endogenous growth factors within a stable fibrin matrix, Fibrinet facilitates the natural healing process and promotes cellular migration and proliferation at the site of injury.
