Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fibrorestil is an intralesional, Class III medical device composed of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) combined with a proprietary recombinant enzymatic mixture containing collagenase, lyase, and lipase. Developed by Proteos Biotech, Fibrorestil is designed to facilitate the enzymatic remodeling of fibrotic tissue, reduce inflammation, and provide antioxidant effects. It is primarily being evaluated as an adjuvant intralesional therapy combined with standard conservative treatments (such as penile traction and oral tadalafil) for the treatment of stable-phase Peyronie's disease, where it helps reduce penile plaque and curvature deformity.
