Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FID-022 is an investigational intravenous nanoencapsulated formulation of SN-38, the active metabolite of irinotecan. It uses Fulgent Pharma's polyethyloxazoline-based nano-drug delivery platform to encapsulate the topoisomerase I inhibitor. By stabilizing the DNA-topoisomerase I cleavage complex, SN-38 produces DNA damage and cytotoxicity in tumor cells. FID-022 is being evaluated as monotherapy in a first-in-human Phase 1 dose-escalation study in adults with advanced solid tumors. ([fulgentpharma.com](https://www.fulgentpharma.com/pipeline/fid-022))
