Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FIG-002 is a preclinical gene therapy candidate being developed by Fig Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors that overexpress B7-H3 (CD276). The drug utilizes the proprietary Symphony platform, which is based on a helper-dependent adenovirus (HD-Ad) vector system. This platform is designed to deliver large or multiple therapeutic payloads directly to the tumor microenvironment, aiming to enhance therapeutic efficacy while minimizing systemic side effects. FIG-002 specifically targets B7-H3, a transmembrane protein and immune checkpoint molecule that is frequently upregulated in various solid tumors and is associated with tumor progression and poor clinical outcomes. The program is currently in the discovery stage.
