Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FIG-004 is a preclinical gene therapy candidate being developed by Fig Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors that overexpress the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). The therapeutic utilizes the company's proprietary Symphony platform, which is based on a helper-dependent adenovirus (HD-Ad) viral vector system. This platform is designed to deliver targeted therapeutic payloads specifically to EGFR-positive tumor cells, aiming to enhance efficacy within the tumor microenvironment while minimizing off-target toxicity associated with systemic EGFR inhibition. As of 2024, the program is in the discovery stage.
