fimasartan + amlodipine + chlorthalidone

SPC 2002 is a fixed-dose triple combination therapy developed by Shin Poong Pharmaceutical for the treatment of essential hypertension. It consists of fimasartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB); amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (CCB); and chlorthalidone, a thiazide-like diuretic. This combination is designed for patients whose blood pressure is inadequately controlled by dual therapy. Fimasartan works by blocking the vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin II at the AT1 receptor, amlodipine induces vasodilation by inhibiting calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle, and chlorthalidone reduces blood volume by promoting sodium and water excretion in the kidneys. The drug is currently in Phase 3 clinical development in South Korea.
