Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Aitingjie** is an oral fixed-dose capsule containing **finasteride 5 mg** and **tadalafil 5 mg** for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Finasteride inhibits type 2 5-alpha-reductase, reducing conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone and thereby decreasing androgen-driven prostate growth. Tadalafil inhibits phosphodiesterase type 5, increasing cyclic GMP signaling and relaxing smooth muscle in the prostate, bladder neck, and lower urinary tract. The product was approved and marketed in China by Taienkang's subsidiary Shandong Huabokai Biotechnology as a domestic generic version of Veru's Entadfi.
