Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**FIT-CD19-CAR-T** is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting CD19, developed using the proprietary Fast-in-Time (FIT) manufacturing platform. Unlike conventional CAR T-cell therapies that require 7–14 days of production, the FIT platform enables a **rapid, non-viral CAR T-cell manufacture in approximately 2 days**. This approach aims to address the limitations of time-to-treatment, cost, and manufacturing complexity associated with current CAR T therapies[^1]. The therapy works by collecting the patient’s T cells, genetically modifying them to express a CAR specific for CD19 (commonly present on the surface of malignant B cells in leukemias and lymphomas), expanding their number, and infusing them back into the patient to mediate targeted immune destruction of CD19-expressing cells[^1]. Primary indication is for **relapsed/refractory B-cell hematologic malignancies**, such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
