Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FKC516 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by Fosun Kairos, the innovation arm of Fosun Kite Biotechnology. It is designed for the treatment of large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL). As an autologous cell therapy, FKC516 involves the ex vivo genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that targets specific antigens on the surface of lymphoma cells. Once re-infused into the patient, these engineered cells are intended to recognize and induce the lysis of malignant B cells. The program is currently in the preclinical and IND-enabling stages of development.
