Overview

FKC889 is a CD19-targeted CAR-T cell therapy developed for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma, as well as other B-cell malignancies such as mantle cell lymphoma and precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It is administered intravenously and currently in clinical trials in China[1][2][3]. The mechanism of action involves genetically engineered T cells expressing a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that targets CD19 on malignant B cells, leading to their destruction[2].
