Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FL-0445 is a GMP-grade ionizable lipid developed by FUJIFILM Corporation for use in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations. It is specifically optimized for the ex vivo engineering of human primary cells, such as T cells and hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs). FL-0445-based LNPs facilitate high-efficiency gene delivery and editing, including gene knock-out (e.g., B2M, CD45) and gene knock-in (e.g., CAR constructs), while preserving cell viability and proliferation. This lipid is intended to provide a scalable, cost-effective alternative to viral vectors and electroporation for the clinical production of genetically engineered cell therapies.
