Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FL761 is a small molecule camptothecin analog developed by Canget BioTekpharma for the treatment of retinoblastoma. As an analog of FL118, it is designed to inhibit the expression of multiple anti-apoptotic proteins, including survivin (BIRC5), Mcl-1, XIAP, and cIAP2 (BIRC3), by suppressing their promoter activity. Unlike traditional camptothecins, FL118 and its analogs are reported to function independently of topoisomerase I inhibition. FL761 is currently in the preclinical stage, with in vitro studies demonstrating potential efficacy in retinoblastoma models.
