Overview

FL7728 is a small molecule camptothecin analog being developed by Canget BioTekpharma for the treatment of ovarian cancer. As an analog of FL118, it is designed to overcome the limitations of traditional camptothecins, such as irinotecan and topotecan, by potentially inhibiting the expression of multiple anti-apoptotic proteins including survivin, Mcl-1, XIAP, and c-IAP2. The drug has demonstrated efficacy in in vivo preclinical models of ovarian cancer and is intended to bypass common resistance mechanisms like ABCG2/BCRP-mediated efflux and p53 mutations.
